9.6.4 check for updates - why doesn't it prompt to grab 9.6.8?

Hi everyone,

I'm running LC 9.6.4, when I run check for updates it reports no updates available but in the announcements I see "Release LiveCode 9.6.8" is stable - so why doesn't the updater prompt to grab it?

Are you using the Community or Commercial edition?

Doesn’t Community only go up to 9.6.3?
Or am I misremembering?

The last Community version was 9.6.3

Still not clear to me why 9.6.4 is not prompting upgrade to .8...

How about downloading this:

https://community.livecode.com/9_6_3/

and seeing if it offers you an update?

If it does it means there's a problem with 9.6.4.

If it doesn't, it means there's a problem with your computer system.

Or just go to https://downloads.livecode.com and download either the desired or any other version to test..
