Post by micmac »

Hi there

Has anyone constructed a modern OSX window, they want to share?

Thanks

One of these screenshots shows a new "TextEdit"*** document and the other a LC stack window.
Which one would you consider a "modern OSX window"?

***Since "TextEdit" is a native OSX application, I think this might be what you'd call a "modern OSX Window", right?

Is that LiveCode stack or a LiveCode Create window?

Hi Mic,

what version of LC are you referring to?
I thought that LC, like any other macOS app, will "borrow" the windows and many of the controls from the underlying OS?

Best

macOS 13.8

Modern windows no longer have the top bar

I you choose to have no topbar you also loose window controls and rounded corners

Ah, thanks, well macOS tends to change its appearance with every new OS version, which may explain the little differences. :-)

Sorry, don't understand?
Of course they have, but we can hide it in LC and even set the "decorations" to whatever fits for our app.

Yes, what do you exspect in that case?
Then it is up to us, the developers, to provide this functionality somehow, if neccessary.
