Experimenting With Video

Post by WaltBrown » Fri Oct 01, 2010 5:45 am

I was reading a thread about capturing video, made the stack pictured below using my laptop camera (of me still trying to get up to speed), and generated a couple non-critical questions:

Does anyone know why the snapshot (in the frame grab on the right) cannot be made to look clear? If I frame grab the video the stack shows and paste it into another graphics program, it looks fine, like the original on the left.

Are there any "access" points for fine tuning LC's frame grabber process or resulting image? I can get the "vfw" and "directx" Windows settings pop ups, but they don't help the frame grab.

Thanks!
Walt
