I have retitled this post, because I think things went on a tangent.

LiveCode's strength is in its compiled language, native L&F, IDE and its wide array of target platforms --including some interoperability with the web. RunRev, the company can build on this strength by turning LiveTalk into an ECMA language. This, coupled with sound leadership can turn the company to the next level in a big way. Of course, many aspects, it would not hurt having its main offices in the Silicon Valley ;) Joking aside, here are the potential technical direction:

1. LiveTalk (is that the right language name?) becomes a first class ECMA language.
2. LiveTalk is compiled to JavaScript --hint: partner up with TileStack folks.

I won't add noise with the business analysis, although I'll be happy to at a later post.

I'll submit a third option in another thread, because it could be fully decoupled from the above strategy.
