Hi persons that are on the edge of your seats
The one and only event ploughs into town yet again, bringing you Mark with a tutorial about how to use Installer Maker. View it here.
Other presenters are Jim Ault and then it's Davids Saturday Night, as usual at the end. Those two have not given me any information about what they're planning, it's a surprise extravaganza!
The last two shows where full of surprises too.
Man, I hate surprises.
...
Have Fun

Re: Live LiveCode Code Event #9
The latest news came in!
I learned that Jim will show us how we can optimise user interfaces, for ourself or customers, and only show what we want. All that, simply by using windowshapes and similar fancy visual tricks.

Re: Live LiveCode Code Event #9
Hi BvG,
I try to access the "Wrap-up of Event #8"
It seems there is an error.
I was interested by David's presentation about sockets.

Re: Live LiveCode Code Event #9
Unfortunately, for event #8 there is no recording. I see that you can't get to the wrap-up page of event #8 by normal means.I've forwarded the website bug to David.
But you can still look at the wrap-up post by going to the main site http://livecode.tv/ and clicking on "← Older posts" at the bottom of the announcement post.

Re: Live LiveCode Code Event #9
Here’s the wrapup of the last event.
Mark made a very through explanation of his installer maker product. It’s recored here:
http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/12484146
Jim Showed a very fancy GUI approach using windowshapes and tiny buttons to show status messages. Unfortunately there is a technical problem with the recording, I’ll update this when there’s any news regarding that.
David showed his advances in getting video streaming into LiveCode, which of course bodes well for further shows.
