Quitting to 'desktop'

Post by SteveHanlan » Wed Mar 30, 2011 10:21 pm

When I execute a 'Quit', my iPad app shuts down correctly but stays as a blank screen. I still have to click the button to get back to the desktop screen.
Any ideas ?

Hi Steve,

I don't think apps are supposed to quit themselves. I don't know of any iOS app that does it. They are all quitted by pressing the home button. It is the interface of the iOS.

Kind regards

Bernd

I think Bernd is correct. I've never heard of an app being able to quit itself. iOS isn't designed to allow this.

FYI - Fixed in release 4.6.1
Quit now exits to desktop not to a blank screen

Yay!
