OS X screensaver

Post by Chris » Fri Jun 29, 2007 10:55 am

Hello folks -

Quick question: is it possible to make a true (i.e selectable from system prefs) screen saver for os x using Rev.

If yes... how?

All the best,

Chris

No that seams impossible.
Unless the screen saver format is in some way just a hidden .app file...
One should look at the documentation on that file format, but I'm very doubtful.

Hi Chris,

please check "OS X Screensaver" of user "designeq" in "Revolution Online".

Rev never stops to amaze me :-)

Thanks for the help chaps. I was hoping not to have to "roll my own", but that sample stack is great and will make it very easy to convert what I have already written to a standalone screen saver.

Thanks again,

Chris

Hey, Klaus, this sounds really interesting, but I can't find it in Rev Online. Am I just missing it? Could someone possible send it to me?
Thanks, - Charles

It was probably on the original RevOnline, not certain if Rev transferred everything to the new one, or just decided to start a-new..

I'm afraid that Sean is right, my post was from 2007(!) and that stack obviously did not make it into the new RevOnline.
