Difference between developer and submitted app?
Hi!
I have tried to submit an app to the app store twice. It runs without problem on my iPhone and iPad. Both times it has been rejected by Apple who says that the app crashes on startup! I've tested my app under wifi, 3G, edge, no network at all, and for me it never crashes. The only difference I can see is that the submitted app is signed with another certificate. Does anyone know if there are any other differences? It's quite frustrating to get the app rejected, and get a crash log that doesn't help as it points to code written by runrev. NOTE: I don't blame runrev for faulty code. It can of course be my code that is the problem but the crash log from Apple doesn't help me when the binaries is created by LiveCode.
Can anyone shed some light please!

Re: Difference between developer and submitted app?
Im having a similar problem with an app rejected twice, its good to know im not alone!
Everything works perfectly on the test devices, but the App store rejects the app as crashing on startup.
Do you use any of the externals (revzip, sqllite etc) for iOS?
I have a large second level support ticket back from Apple that seems to point the issue with my App towards the database externals so I have sent this onto RunRev support, if you are having similar problems it might be worth contacting them as well.

Re: Difference between developer and submitted app?
From communication with RunRev, I gathered that this is a known problem with all apps that use externals. A fixed version of LC will be available as soon as possible.

Re: Difference between developer and submitted app?
Does anyone have an update on the status of fixing this issue?
Re: Difference between developer and submitted app?
An updated version of Livecode should be available very soon as the problem has been located and fixed, I think its just working through the testing process as before releasing as 4.6.2.
In the meantime it might be worth getting in touch with support to see if there is any way you can get the pre-release if your app depends on externals.
