Where's the Timer?

Post by townsend » Tue May 24, 2011 11:25 pm

Visual Studio has always had a Timer control, which is used
to create events at designated intervals.

I don't see a Timer in the LIveCode Tools Palette.
How are timed Messages created in Livecode?

Rev does not have faceless controls like the timer, but you can use the send command to do the same thing..

Write back if what Townsend posted is not clear. He is perfectly correct, however.

You make your own such gadgets, and they are very easy and powerful.
