Create Alias not working (Mac OSX 10.4.10)

It seems that the "Create Alias" command is not functioning properly (Rev Studio 2.8.1 running on Mac OSX 10.4.10). Instead of an alias file, it produces an
empty, blank document that has no apparent link to the original file.

I recall that this used to work but it has been quite some time nice I needed to use it so I don't recall which version of Rev Studio that was.

Is this a bug?
