LiveCode for Android / Webservices...

Hi all,
i plan to develop an app for Android. Before i buy LiveCode (or decide to use the Android Tools) i want to know if LiveCode for Android supports Webservice calls...
This means for me i want to call a Java based webservice running somewhere at the internet.
Can this be done with LiveCode for Android ?

please pardon my ingnorance, but isn't a Webservice nothing but "interacting with an URL"
just like in a browser on the desktop?

If yes, then this is possible

Hi Henning,

Please don't forget you can trial both LiveCode and Android before purchasing.

If you have a specific WebService in mind I'd be happy to test it for you via LiveCode.
No prob if you prefer not.

Some of the Andoird browsers are limited in their functionality
so depending on the webService you might have to experiment
with which browsers will work.
