iPad display image corruption

After loading my app onto my iPad, I was thrilled to see it working, until the display became mostly filled with black areas. This occurred first during the moving of a button across the screen. It also sometimes happens when clicking on other buttons. If I navigate away from the card and back again, the display returns to normal. Any help would be monumentally appreciated!!

Which version of LiveCode and with version of iOS are you using?

I had this happen with all my apps that were building with LC4.6.1 when used under iOS5.... all the apps had worked will under iOS4.x.

I had to rebuild my apps with LC5.0.1 and all seems fine.

Thanks for your reply!! I only wish there were an easier solution. Yes, I'm using LC v. 4.6.1 and IOS 5.0.1 Do you have any tips for making the rebuild any easier?

I'm afraid the only thing I know of is to upgrade to LC 5.0.1 or use an iPad that's still running iOS 4.x.

It's taken awhile but my app is in the store!!!! Scales Tutor for iPad. Thank you runrev and forum helpers. Nobody can believe a musician like me could do this And I wouldn't have been able to without this wonderful program and the great support we have here.
It's been my passion, and used up all my spare time, but is worth every minute. Now on to the iPhone version. I'll probably be back with questions about rotation, but that's for another day.
