Using iphonePlaySoundOnChannel, there appears to not be a set limit - much like variables, you just declare a channel and therefore it exists. The power! Mwa ha ha.
Um, what I am wondering is, how many channels could a LiveCode app support? I'm thinking of doing something with 12 channels - has anyone worked with a large number of channels yet? Do you think I can do 12?

To answer my own question, yes, you can play 12 tracks at once. I do not know what I'm doing to the iPad CPU or battery, but it will play all 12 channels. Pretty darned cool...
