Why does Win7 LiveCode app open 2 WinExplorer windows?

HI all,

My app works great on both WinXP and MAC OS X Lion.

But gives me all kinda probs on win7.

Just spent most of the after noon sorting out a test and dev win7 environment just to confirm.

Yep, when compiled on Lion the windows app failes when run on win7.
Yep, when compiled on winxp the windows app failes when run on win7.
Run as administrator - checked. no dif.

So compiled on win7 - it runs ok.
But on first execution two winExplorer windows open.
Weird.

I'll need to step thru me script with the debugger to see where its actuall happening.

Neither word windows nor 7 would work in the forum search.

I'll stop here and start fresh tomorrow morning.
I don't want a repeat of my ditsy antics from last night.

Nevermind unless someone know whats going on.

I don't have a requirement for a Win7 app.
I just wanted my programming workmate to have a test.
He was on Win7.

My target platform is Lion.
And my app works properly on Lion.

Although I might go ahead and chase this down later.

That's pretty bizarre. When you say

two winExplorer windows open

is that your code that should be opening one winExplorer window, or is that two windows in addition to your application? Either way is weird.
