Hi All,
When I try and drag in my App store distribution store profile to Xcode i get an "The profile myappname does not include this device and cannot be installed thereon" I tried selecting my iPad device in the create distribution profile screen, and i did, but they were all greyed out which wasn't too promising.
I need to be able to drag the profile into Xcode so I can create my final app to submit to the store....sigh this last hurdle stuff is so frustrating!
Any thoughts on what to try? (I followed the same steps as last time...which worked for my last app, grrr.)
Thanks for ny help!
Dale

Re: Distribution profile woes...help!
I just tried creating a brand new OSX account, and retrying all the certificate creation steps etc (so my keychain was completely empty) but no change. I was also getting a "keychain pair non matching" error on the distribution profile until I selected the "add device to provisioning portal" in Xcode, which made it then work, but the device was already in the portal so still quite confused.
The distribution profile still a no go even after the dev profile now working.
lol, shoot me now

A related question:
are the iPhone developer and iPhone distribution certificates meant to be in login or system keychains? Same for my personal certificate. Login or system?
EDIT: dragging them both to login seemed to get rid of that error message.

Ok my soliloquy continues, problem solved (I think) I was dragging the profile to my iPad rather than to the library (big doh there!) and that seems to be the problem. Grrr, stupid mistake, but who knows someone else might run into it too.
