Dictionary App

Post by seaniepie » Mon Apr 02, 2012 4:58 pm

Hi guys,
Wouldn't it be nice if there were a set of apps for iPhone, iPad and Android that could have a searchable dictionary on it. The paper one is BIG. The iPad is awesome. I have the user guides and reference guides in pdf format in iBooks. The Dictionary would be just as welcome.

I like this idea. It shouldn't be too hard to build your own standalone app for this from the revDictionary stack, though.

In the meantime, there's always http://docs.runrev.com/

Three words, Out of date! And very difficult to nav on a tablet.

I will look into the revDictionary stack though. I assumed it would be protected.

Ok, yes, with a little adjustment I could get this to work. It transferred to the iPad no problem, just need to link up the dictionary items themselves. I just get the stack at the moment.
