Lotus Notes and revMail

Post by Simon » Wed Jul 11, 2012 12:07 pm

Hi,
I have a couple of clients that use Lotus Notes as their default email client. revMail does not seem to be working for them as they get no response from clicking on the link.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

THX,
Simon

Hi Simon,

you could check "the result" right after firing the "revmail..." command.
Maybe this will give you a hint.

You are talking about Windows, right?
i found that "revmail" does not work at all on Windows in LiveCode 5.5.1,
at least nor for me!

I always get "not opended" as "the result", which should be "not configured"
since I never set up any mail client on my (Paralells) Win7 .

That error is not even listed in the dictionary as possible "results"!? :?

Best

Klaus

Hi Klaus,
I'm going to try:
revGoURL ("mailto:client@clientsite.com?subject=Application%20Feedback")
It's working with Outlook and mac Mail. Will let you know the results from the client.
