I just had my first app, Number Wizard, approved for the App Store. I just want to say thanks to everyone for your help. This forum is amazing!

Feels good doesn't it. If you go to itunesconnect.com you can track how many people and from what countries are downloading your apps. Run stats etc. You can also download the mobile app ITC mobile and track your downloads from your iPhone.

I have 4 apps in the store and 1 is doing better than the rest. I have been playing around with the pricing to see if less is more or more is less. I am generating only about $50 a month now but if I could just triple that it would help cover my beer tab!

Hi jnmedia,

Congrats on your app. I read your write up about how you made it on live code and I bought it to see. I thought it was great!
It was because of your enthusiasm that I bought livecode too!

Now I have a problem and I wondered if you might be able to help.
I uploaded an app built in Xcode and it went into the itunes connect without a problem.
Now I have rebuilt it using live code and can't get it to go up to itunes connect.
I have a few questions you may be able to answer, if so, I will be really grateful.

1. Did you change the plist or add in an entitlements plist?
2. Did you load your finished app into iTunes before you zipped it? Did it have a .ipa.zip extension or .app.zip extension?
3. When renewing the certificates and profiles, do you delete all that are in keychain, or just development and distribution certs?
4. I have a codesigning certificate in keychain. Do I delete that too and will a new one just appear?

I am fairly new to macs so excuse me if my questions seem silly.
Thanking you in advance and once again, Well done!!

Jessamy Goddard.

First of all, thanks for the very kind words!

I'm no expert but here's my 2-cents worth:
1. I didn't touch plist.
2. No. Use Finder's Compress command to zip.
3. I'm not sure. I think just development and distribution.
4. Don't know what this is. Sorry.

Good luck!

Judy
