sftp with Livecode

I don't see any sftp commands in the dictionary and searching through the forum I see some older posts saying that it isn't supported (yet). Can someone confirm that this still isn't supported and that I have to use the shell for this? (I'm on OS X.)

Good you are on OS X so you can use "curl" instead.
