revspeak using Unicode languages (Chinese) on the MAC

Post by scotttyang » Wed Apr 24, 2013 6:25 am

Well, I thought it was going to work.

revSetSpeechVoice "Ya-Ling"
revspeak the unicodetext of fld "chinesetext"

revSetSpeechVoice "Ya-Ling"
revspeak fld "chinesetext"

no Chinese. Just the sound of a chinese person speaking English or gibberish.

Does Revspeak work for Unicode languages?

Scott

Hi Scott,

RevSpeak don't work with diacritical chars under Lion. That should be amazing its works with chinese chars
You probably need use applescript or shell
