MySQL connect on iOS

Hi,


Having read through the forums and release notes [and elsewhere] I understand that the MySQL commands as they work on the desktop, do not work for iOS?
So, I'm not able to directly talk to an online MySQL database from within an iOS app?

Just want confirmation really so I know I have to go the PHP route or so.

You can connect to a mySQL database from an iOS app... I do it all the time. If you need some help... ask ...

Forgot to check "MySQL" under the iOS standalone settings....
