Dont know quite where to post this but I am having stacks (no pun intended) of trouble with LC on W8. Using live code 5.5.5
The program runs fine but I cannot get a test target or test device as they are grayed out in the menu.
I have uninstalled both the android SDK and the Java RTE and SDK and re installed.
Also in live code I have set up the mobile support paths for both.
When I try to save the app as a stand alone I get a message saying it cannot build the manifest.
The app compiles ok on other platforms....winows, mac and iOS(the latter two on a mac).
Other programs I use that need the Android SDK still work fine..
Any ideas what I am doing wrong please?
This is actualy the first time I have tried to port an app to Android.
Hope you can help.
Cheers
I just found the section on Android problems...this probably should be there. Sorry.

Hi,
Have you enabled support for Android 2.2? LiveCode needs this in order to make an android standalone.
