Is it possible to import the LiveCode build into Xcode and do testing using the Instruments tools set. I have started to cross over to Xcode and Obj-C and I see all the cool tools they have. Of course learning Xcode is a much steeper learning curve, one that LiveCode has flattened tremendously which I appreciate. However, the more I see what is available I wonder about not only debugging the code but also memory leaks, and other optimizations that I had not even thought about when I was using LC.
I have 2 questions for those experienced LC developers out there.
1) Is it possible to even import files into Xcode for advanced testing and optimizing.
2) Yes, my app is probably not even close to needing advanced optimizing, and Yes I'm sure that LC has taken care of much of that for us, but it would be nice to learn and do some of that for myself as my skills grow and as I start making more sophisticated apps.
3) any comments or thoughts on advanced app testing would be appreciated.
