Locate Path to IOS SDK?

Post by Ontarget » Sat Jun 22, 2013 8:04 pm

First day using LiveCode: When I try to setup the path in the preferences for the IOS SDK simulators, choosing Xcode fails to find the SDK information. The question is where are the simulators and the folder that might contain them? I could not locate them in documents? What folder are they stored inside of?

I found another item on the SDK where the SDK download was included. Idid this and extracted the files. I then went to the LiveCode preferences to add the path to the folder for the SDK. This was as described in the LiveCode setup for IOS. I found that the folder and contents were there when I tried to open the folder to add the path it did not work to add the path. I went back to the forum article and it said I needed to copy the SDK to Xcode? This is not described how to make this happen. I tried to Xcode help and found nothing that helped? I wonder why this is being made so difficult when it should be simple?

Can anyone describe the proper way to accomplish this task to add the file path to LiveCode?
