API Dictionary update

Greetigns everyone.

Just wanted to know if anyone knows if the the API Dictionary is being updated after each new LC version release.

I was hopping to read about the "childControlNames" that was implemented in the latest release but found no information.

Is it because the latest release is still a TEST release?
