How do I display a local html file using livecode?

I'm a beginner doing my Final Year Project and I really need the information on the User Interface and also the codings. I have tried many ways but still can't find out how to display a local html file on LC, which let's me look at the html file offline. I tried changing the Mobile Browser Example and also the forums but to no avail. Please help me! :/ I will still be trying whilst someone replies to this thread.
