Gif animation faster than what I had set in photoshop
I create Gif animations in Photoshop and configure them in "save for web and devices". However when imported into livecode they are always much faster than what is configured in my local application. Maybe someone has some advice on this please?
Thanking you.

I think this is a "mobile" thing???????
At least, the gif animation for the hot topics on this forum (for instance - other sites too) all whiz at lightning speed on my android instead of the "yes your eye can follow it" speed in different desktop browsers.

Re: Gif animation faster than what I had set in photoshop
well I guess then I will have to go back and slow everything down in Photoshop by 50%, and then re-import. thanks sparkout, thought there might be a simpler answer than having to re-configure 43 frames!
Re: Gif animation faster than what I had set in photoshop
Try a test animation with fewer frames first - I'm not convinced the frame rate will be honoured whatever you set it to. But I could be completely off track.
Re: Gif animation faster than what I had set in photoshop
Hallo Sparkout, I had another animation with just 12 frames, same thing happened there. It's ok, I have a couple of work-arounds on this. I can also tween an extra frame or two in between the master layers, or simply slow the frame passes in order to compensate in Livecode.

Or you could use LiveCode to "load" the images at whatever rate you choose (instead of relying on the settings shared between photoshop and live code's image player). Just an idea!
