Little Arrows problem

Post by hamlynart » Mon Sep 15, 2008 5:43 pm

Hi Folks,

I've discovered a problem with the "Little Arrows" tool. If I drop it onto a stack and test it in browse mode it favors the bottom arrow ie the mouse has to be in the upper portion of the upper arrow to register a positive click. Even when the mouse is over the lower half of the Up arrow, if you click it, it registers the click in the down arrow section.

This is very frustrating.

Has anybody run into this and is there a solution?

Thanks in advance

Jim

I've come across this!

The way to overcome the problem is to tweak the height of the control using the inspector. There is a size at which point the clicking behaviour of the control becomes as expected. On Mac OS X, it's 25 pixels.

Hope that helps,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Brilliant! Works best on 30 pixels for me but thanks for the tip.
