Today I received an e-mail from Kickstarter stating that there has been unauthorized access and password may have been grabbed. The request is to change the password.
Have anyone else received the e-mail as well?

It's legit and the attack is being covered widely in the news media. If you don't trust the link in the email, type it into a browser manually. There's more info on the site's blog.
