Hi Guys,
would be great if you had various prebuilt templates, with scripting libraries. For example an invoicing solution, with ADD,DELETE,AMEND features to records. The developers could then purchase these and customise them into their own apps.

Hi,
I think this was tried with RevMedia a few years ago and I'm not sure that it was a success
Kind regards,
Mark

Re: Programmatic Templates
Oh thats a shame, could see it quite a good way for new developers to become accustomed to Live Code. I personally would love it if there was a database starter solution with the foundation of a couple screens with data grids etc used which I could build my solution on.

is a link to a thread that is talking about databases and data grids complete with an example that someone else posted. There is actually a lot of code out there for you to build off of if you look through all the resources on the site and in the linked sites of the Revolution or LiveCode gurus that hang out here.
My problem is TOO MUCH information that I can't swallow quickly enough - in one eye and out the other it seems!
