iOS development for personal use

Post by lohill » Tue Feb 14, 2012 7:34 pm

I have been using Rev/LiveCode for a couple of years now and have developed some things for my own personal use. I would like to see if I can get some of these things to run on my iPad. I have no intention of going commercial and trying to sell my applications in the App Store. If I spend the $300.00 for the LiveCode iOS development tools will I have every thing needed to get an app running on my iPad or iPhone without having to go through the App Store?

If the answer to this is yes, is there some place I can get a brief description of the steps that are used in getting the application from the simulator environment into the actual device?

Thanks,
Larry

As well as the LiveCode iOS license you'll need to be a registered iOS developer - only registered developers can create the provisioning files needed to install apps on devices.

Thanks Gerry,
Where does one begin in order to get registered as an iOS developer?
