I managed to get everything working dandy. Installed JDK and android sdk, setup everything with few minor hiccups but came through valiantly.
As i test ran my applet for the first time I was greeted by the friendly hello that i'm running a trial, reasonable, I am in sense just checking out/leeching for free.
Saw my app running as slow as the emulator but feeling that 1 minute of joy as I watched my boxes rumbling towards oblivion, priceless. Feeling content of my minor but no less significant achievement I did some quick fixing to the app and tried to run again.
This time around the friendly splash screen said the same thing as before but, instead of giving me that 1 minute of joy it dumped me on the home screen.
I tried uninstalling the app, clearing the cache etc to have another 1 minute of testing but to no avail.
So my question is, do I just get 1 minute of testing per app while using trial (which would be understandable but 'disheartening') or am I perhaps doing something horribly wrong?
Btw, my initial plan was to finish something viable during the trial period and buy the license as soon as I had something concrete to use the license for as money is tight even for the pay-as-you-go.

Re: Livecode trial, test running on Android.
I had a similar experience on a very cheap android device, bought specifically for test purposes. I will need a faster laptop before I choose to run the android emulator again.
Never mind - the open-source version of LiveCode should appear any day now. And this post should confirm that I have a Kickstarter badge.

Re: Livecode trial, test running on Android.
I am using the Community version of LiveCode to learn to write an app for work. I am trying to load and test on Android emulator. Can this be done in the Community version?
I have followed the steps to install the Java SDK (JDK) and the Android SDK. However, neither shows in the pathwhen trying to set the Android SDK in Mobile Support Preferences.
The JDK path does not show at all. The SDK root keeps giving me the "Please ensure you have installed it correctly, and enabled support for Android 2.2 (Froyo)" message.
I am using Windows 7. I did uninstall, and reinstalled with same results.
