Which version of MacOS for best experience

I'm looking to buy a second hand MacBook Air to start creating apps on MacOS.

Which version to choose for the best experience with LiveCode (6.1.2 or 6.5) ? I'm lost with "Lion", "Maverick" etc.

Hi bangkok,

well, it depends on what newest OS version your Macbook supports!
But since it is an "Air", the latest OS 10.9 (Maverick) should run fine.

How much RAM does it have? 4 GB will do, but the more the better

I always update to the latest OS version (since OS X 10.1) and
never had any problems with that and Livecode!
