Hi there,
First of all sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in for this but I'm totally new here and wasn't too sure of the best place to post. I did try emailing support but have had no reply so thought I would try here next.
Please do move this post to a different forum if it needs to be.
I was just wondering about the 'full' course that you are giving away for free at the moment on your main page.
I signed up for it and when I login to my account I can see the download link for the Mac version of the course and underneath there is a username and key. Upon opening the App up on the computer I have a username and password login box. I tried placing the username in the username box and the key in the password box but the key is one digit too long.
I'm therefore guessing that this is not where I'm supposed to use that key perhaps? If anyone could please tell me how I use my username and key to get hold of the full course as is advertised on your main page then I would really appreciate the help with this, thanks.
Best wishes,
Mark

Hello Mark,
http://ftp.runrev.com/forums/viewforum. ... 9459cc9397
but it's not a big deal.
When you start the LCU app you see the Login tab and also Create Login. So create a new Login credentials for it, log in and then choose "Register LiveCode University" from the Help menu -there you enter the username and key.
good luck!

A better place to post your question would have been under the LiveCode University sectionmarkbowen wrote:First of all sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in for this but I'm totally new here and wasn't too sure of the best place to post. I

Re: RE : Brigham course…
Hi Keram,
Oops sorry about the incorrect forum. For some reason I honestly didn't see that forum when I looked through them all. Must have had a blind moment there for a while.
Hmm when I try to do that I get a message stating that the username already exists and it asks me if I want to login instead. Trying to do that it places the username (that was supplied in my account section) to the username field and if I try the key in there it doesn't work. Placing my Livecode site password in there does log me in but then I'm just in trial mode and many of the lessons aren't shown to me and it says I have only 7 days left in the trial.
Any idea what I can do to fix this?
Many thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Good luck!

So once you are logged into LiveCode University app click on Help (in the Menu) then Register LiveCode University - put in the username and key that you have from your LiveCode account and then again from the Help menu click on Check for Content Updates. You'll have a choice to download a file (40MB) for offline contents update or do it online straight from the UI.markbowen wrote:Placing my Livecode site password in there does log me in but then I'm just in trial mode
