Custom properties, Dan Shafer and insertion point focus

Hi again,

Sorry for asking so many questions, hopefully this will be the last for a while. In fact I'll ask two at once:

1: How do I script the insertion point to focus at he beginning of a particular line in a field?

2: I have dan Schafer's book Revolution at the Speed of Thought and would very much like to get my hands on the additional materials he posted on his RevolutionPros site which is sadly no longer live anymore.

1) select before line 25 of fld x

I'd already tried "select" but missed "before" - simple when you know how.
