"BloatWare". I use excel, for example, and fairly well, but know that I am only using 10% of its features. Aside from the fact that what I use and need could, amd maybe ought to be, set aside in a "quick guide", at least I do not have to be expert in all aspects of that program to use it effectively.
Same with LiveCode.
If the program became so complex, and more importantly interdependent within itself to work effectively, then I would be as worried as you are. But a new user can still make an address book with only a dozen native words, and just a bit of IDE knowledge. I think, if I understand your concern, that what is needed is a newbie tutorial.
