Copy Files setting and its secrity

Post by Jellobus » Sat Dec 20, 2014 12:17 am

Hi

I have a bunch of files including text and images attached to stack and applied Encrypt with password option in the standalone settings.
Now I wonder if copy files will be securely locked as well and can't be shown to users in the mobile platform
I think it could be too much worry but its better to double check before everything is clear.

I will import files to stack if it is not secure enough to leave files as copy files.

Cheers,

Louis

The encryption in standalone settings only works on stacks. Text files, images, and other types of files are not encrypted there. You need to do that yourself before adding the files to the Copy Files pane. It's probably easier to just import the files into your stack though.
