Language reference

Post by terryw64 » Tue Feb 17, 2015 1:09 am

Maybe I've overlooked it. But where is the language reference? Something that explains the use of variables, scope of procedures, return types from procedures, etc. I've gone through a lot of the tutorials on the site, but they all seem basic.

Thank you in advance.

An introduction to programming in LiveCode is provided in Chapter 5 of the User Guide, accessed through the Help menu. Other chapters on specific topics may also be of interest.

For details on any particular language token, see the Dictionary.
