I have no experience with Web based Rev, just old-fashioned standalones and no knowlege of the server-based universe. The idea of the new Revolution which will work seamlessly on the Web is very exciting, but I have no idea what website providers will have to do (and if they will do it) support this new feature. Where can I find out the sort of things I will need to ask my hosting company?
Thanks

That's a rather early question - given that there's no public beta available at the moment and the plan is to release in late summer.
At any rate, the question is actually two questions, and I'll try and give you the likely answers:

At any rate, the question is actually two questions, and I'll try and give you the likely answers:
- for the web browser plug-in, allowing you to embed stacks in web pages, your provider has nothing to do; just put the right information in your tags, and the browser will know where to fetch the plug-in
- for the web server plug-in, your provider will have to install and configure an Apache or Microsoft IIS module
