Hi!
I have a project I want to test on a real device. My Mac usb ports don't work so I can't test through Xcode-MyDevices. I was hoping to test in testflight but that process is not going well. I created all certificates and profiles. I use my App Store provisioning profile to build the standalone. I rename the folder Payload and then compress the folder. After the folder is compressed I change the file name to gamename.ipa and accept the change to an .ipa format. In application loader I choose deliver app. After many failures and changes the app gets submitted to app store for approval and I can't use on test flight.
Any help would be great I know I'm doing something wrong

Hi Jordy,
I think you should try to get your USB working so you can plug your phone into your MAC. It would be a whole lot easier. An alternative would be AirLaunch from Hyperactive Software. Jacqueline is a member here on the forum.

Re: How to upload to testflight
It is possible to still use TestFlight but it just takes longer, as the app has to be approved for testing by Apple. So be patient... and try and get your USB ports fixed too!

Hi again,
Thanks for the response.
I took the mac to apple at one point and they were no help. I've tried other solutions from online so I have come to terms with my ports being trash. I will definitely look into AirLaunch! Like Strongbow said it seems like maybe my apps are pending approval for testing on test flight. I just didn't know that was a requirement and that makes it kinda useless for development. I have seen a lot of stuff on these forums about changing the Plist but is that in live code or in the file it creates I'm not sure
