Strange field behaviour
I have a field in a group which should display a number but doesn't.
When I select the group and click on "Edit Group" the number is
in the field.
Another field which displays the difference between this field and
another shows the correct difference.
BTW the errant field is set to "Opaque".
Similar fields in the same group all work as expected.
Suggestions appreciated.

Re: Strange field behaviour
What LC version? What settings do you have applied to the grp?

Hi.
A long shot, but is the foreground color of the field in question black? The text in fields will go blank if not.

Started with LC 7.0.1 and continues in 7.1.1.
Group setting same as field.
No color set for the foreground.

Re: Strange field behaviour
I think what Craig was suggesting is that your foreground color is the same as your background color so that it appears as if there is no content.
Easy way to test is the drag the cursor over the field with the left btn down (err select the contents of the field). Double err... turn autoHilite on.
OK so that test is not easy...

Re: Strange field behaviour
This problem has something to do with copying a field.
It might have been me, but seems strange that there
can be two fields with the same name and the original
gets the input so it doesn't show because it's behind the copy.
Anyway I now know how to fix, so progress made.
