Be sure to login before posting. Otherwise if you "save draft" you lose your post.
And it's your own fault! Composing elsewhere and pasting to forums is also a good idea.

Fifty of us have tried to respond with a "thanks", but unfortunately we've all lost our drafts.

..or use a browser-plugin like "Form History Control" that lets you right-click and restore...saved me many hours of work when I was taking online-classes and had to participate in long discussions.
