Make GUI modifications "stick".

Post by richmond62 » Thu Mar 08, 2018 9:06 am

There are various things in the IDE/GUI that I wish to modify to make things a bit easier for myself.

However, the IDE is now constituted in such a way that these modifications are no longer saveable.

Please can that situation be reversed.

If you automate your changes by scripting them they're more portable, easily rolled back, and will survive IDE upgrades.

Well, they would also be more 'shareable' too. You *can* modify most stacks and have it stick, but I should warn you that it can get tedious doing it that way. You'd probably also void your warranty, you cat could get fur-balls, your goldfish will swim only counter clockwise, and your beer will get warm (unless you like it warm, and then it will get cold) :P
