Good morning, I run LC cplus under Linux
I have a problem with autocompletion, when I am in the code editor, it appears for less than 1 second and removes the focus writing cursor from the code editing window. Therefore I have to be continuously returning to the mouse to be able to continue writing code.
The only way this does not happen is to remove the autocomplete option, but I need this option.
any solution? Thank you
Code editor pulls the cursor out

What does "LC cplus" mean?
AND, what do you mean by "Linux"?
For the sake of argument, re Linux, I run versions of LiveCode on LXLE, Xubuntu and Kubuntu,
which are all types of GNU-Linux; and there are different aspects of the LiveCode "experience"
that can seem a bit odd under each of those operating systems.
I also deploy LC on 7 Macintosh computers of different vintages running different instantiations
of MacOS: again, there can be different phenomena with different set ups.
This is because the good folk at LiveCode centre try to keep every one happy, and on the whole
they do a very good job, but they cannot spend all their time testing each version of LiveCode
on every possible operating system LiveCode should run on.

Means community +
The version is nine point five point zero, the server does not let me put it right, I can not write nine point because it thinks it is a link to another website. Operating system GNU-Linux Debian 10 with the latest approved version of XFCE, I have looked at all the requirements of LC for linux systems (as it says on the LC website) and I fulfill them all.
For your part, it is a great job to carry so many different machines, and the LC team is fantastic that works on so many different systems.
Any advice under your experience? I need the autocomplete
