Standalone not happening

Hi,
I have made standalone versions before, but now, following the same process, and getting the message "standalone successfully saved" (or similar), the standalone is not there in the folder I selected in the standalone settings. I haven't a clue why this is happening - as I said, it's worked before. Any ideas ?

If there is no error dialog, then I cannot tell you from afar...

I have no idea if this makes any sense, but try making a new standalone but save to your desktop. See if it pops up.
