Hide Data Grid subobjects from Geometry Manager

The Application browser only displays the highest level "group" object associated with a data grid. It would be great if the geometry manager did the same - right now the list on the application I am working on is about 15 virtual feet long and it's impossible to find anything on it, including the parent group of a specific datagrid (I have a number of datagrids on a single card)
