Can you process Credit Card Sales in LiveCode?

This may not be a newbie question but its more of a general is this possible question and is there any add ons out there to assist in doing this or has anyone else been able to accomplish this? I hope to work to the goal of building a nice point of sale program with the ability to also process credit card transactions but of course wanted to make sure this is possible today.
