Ipad layout and controls example

Hi,

I successfully created my first app for the iphone and now am trying to create an ipad app but it's a bit hard to grasp how to layout the elements, control rotation appropriately and get it to look like a native app. I have MOBGUI and have created some buttons etc but I would like controls like the drop down menu and also set it up to have a main pane and a detail pane. Basically if anyone has a bare bones example to get me started I would really appreciate it.
