I have successfully made an ios app file. I registered the iPad at the ios developer site.
I cannot make any screen shots of app because I do not know how to get the LC generated iOS app to my iPad or open it up, if I got it there.
Surely someone else has crossed this bridge and is willing to help me with this problem that has me dead in the water.
How does other people accomplish this task?
Thanks,
David

Re: Dead in the Water - Testing IOS app on my iPad or iPhone
Hi DR White,
1. Connect the device to your Mac and open Xcode
2. In Xcode, choose Window -> Devices, and select your device under Devices.
3. Drag the ios standalone (.app) generated by LiveCode, and drop it onto the "Applications" section
4. If the previous steps are successful, you should see your app in the device.
Best,
Panos

David,
One other thing you might find handy… if you were talking about screen shots to send to apple as part of placing the your app on the App Store, then you’ll want to get the screen shots from within the simulator. Invoking command-s while in the simulator takes a screen shot with the size being equivalent to your selected hardware divice.
be well,
randy
